Random World has literally traveled to the four corners of the earth to bring you an exciting travel documentary; known simply as The Big Trip. This project is huge, so big in fact that it has its own page on our website.
Random World Productions travelled to 20+ countries, across all 7 continents of the world, with a total distance travelled of over 50,000 miles. Using planes, ferries, trains, buses, cars, taxis and a host of other transport; Random World has traveled around the globe and seen some of the most beautiful scenery our planet has to offer, met wonderful people and stocked up on adrenaline as we took part in some of the worlds more exciting sports and pastimes. So weather its seeing ice bergs floating in the seas of Antarctica, watching as we hurtle down the rapids in inflatable boats, or living the drama as we cope with foreign languages, numerous border crossings, and a host of local customs and laws; there is certainly something for you in our Big Trip.
The project took years to plan, (the idea was initially conceived over 10 years ago). In early September 2007 we will flew off, cameras in hand, to an unbelievable adventure around the world. Now we have returned we have a huge stock of exciting film that will have to be carefully edited into a 5 part series and made available to all our fans and dedicated travel enthusiasts.
The Big Trip is an exciting look into the world of travel and adventure. With this documentary we hope to inspire others to leave the tourist trail and seek out the wonders and trills the world has to offer.
Fun and inspiring for all those who love to travel or have dreamed of what is out there to see.

Pat Grant runs a Karate Club in Binstead on the Isle of Wight. He has been teaching Karate and self defense for many years in which he uses time-honoured principles and techniques coupled with his own modern way of thinking and interpretation. Karate is fun, but also builds confidence and fitness.
Random World will be producing, on DVD, an excellent combination of practical exercises and skills to try at home and an in-depth look at Pat Grant's unique style including its history, development and, of course, its practical application.
This project is in the preplanning stage. We are working hard to develop the 'layout' of the documentary and speaking in-depth with Pat Grant to ensure we bring you a well-rounded documentary that everyone who has an interest in martial arts and self defense will find interesting. Regardless of your age or martial arts ability this feature will be interesting, informative and educational

In the coming months, Random World Productions will be working closely with our sister company Random Films to produce a scary psychological thriller movie. The screenplay, by AJ Chalkley, has now been written and is called 'Daydreamer', below are a few sneak preview details.
Daydreamer is a film about Nathan, a man who is terrified of his own apartment but finds that something is stopping him from leaving. Things seem to get even worse when three cruel acquaintances turn up at the apartment wanting a party. Something is very wrong and Nathan is stuck; struggling to comprehend the things he sees around him and the dark mystery that is slowly engulfing him. Only when he learns the truth; about his past, his present, his fears, and his ever more terrifying daydreams; will he be able to pull himself from the clutches of a powerful and deadly force.

To accompany the exciting Big Trip documentary we are producing a book which in part will be an insightful journey into the minds of circumnavigators and also a lighthearted educational experience for anyone who wishes to break away from normality and see what adventures are out there.
